Toss UN report where it belongs

Enough already!

As if radical Muslims haven’t inflicted enough damage, a biased, boggling new UN report blames Israel for war crimes in the Middle East, and sets the stage for a global showdown between the Free World and nuke-happy jihadists who can’t wait to vaporize the Land of Milk & Honey.

The mostly pro-Palestinian evaluation, which may be headed for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, took “independent” investigators six months to conduct, and accuses Israel %u2013 with more words in its title than actual facts in its 575 pages %u2013 of targeting non-combatants and civilian infrastructure during the three-week Gaza War of December 2008, also known as Operation Cast Lead, which killed between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinians and 13 Israelis.

The disparate number of fatalities point to the suicidal bloodlust of Palestinian militants, who use their brainwashed civilians as military targets, than the barbarism of Israel, whose people have been assailed and murdered by this nemesis since at least the 1834 pogrom in Safed when thousands of Jews were forced into hiding while jealous Arabs pillaged their homes.

The “Human Rights in Palestine and other Occupied Arab Territories, Report of the United Nations’ Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict” barely investigates its quest to unearth the “violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law” committed when Israel bombed the Gaza Strip to stop rocket attacks by Palestinians, and to dismantle their arms smuggling trade along the 25-mile-long-five-mile-wide, conflict-riddled beltway.

Citing the United Nation’s long-standing anti-Semitism, Israel refused to cooperate with the investigators who, flippantly, report that they “enjoyed the support and cooperation of the Palestinian Authority” during their vain attempt to dig up dirt on Israel for defending herself against the world’s foremost and violent welfare state; an entity accused by the Middle East Quarterly in its summer 2008 article, “Does Foreign Aid Fuel Palestinian Violence?” of yielding “a distinct correlation between aid and violence.”

With glaring prejudice, the UN report reveals its “...very serious concerns with regard to the way Israel conducted the military operations in Gaza” while relegating the Palestinian role as being one that only “might constitute a violation.”

Nor were the investigators swayed by the discovery that the Muslim-majority Palestinians used mosques to launch their attacks; a revelation underscored by the Israel Intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Center, which found “extensively documented” evidence about the “storage of weapons in mosques (rockets, IEDs, light arms and even an anti-aircraft gun), and about using the mosques for military training and as bases.”

Puzzlingly, the report refers to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials but not Khaled Meshaal, leader of the terror group Hamas, which governs the Gaza and which the Council on Foreign Relations reports has killed more than 500 people in more than 350 separate terrorist attacks since 1993.

Meshaal’s refusal to renew a truce with Israel, his declaration to end the Egypt-brokered ceasefire and his glee over the escalation of the Palestinian offensive prompted the Israeli strikes.

Clearly, Palestinian radicals have been fueled to anti-Semitism by their ancestors, who desired the destruction of Jews since well before the inception of Israel in 1947. A sampling includes the Arab attacks of May 19, 1936, which killed 25 Jews and injured close to 70 in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem; and the May 10, 1941 fatwa by Palestinian Arab nationalist and Nazi-lover Mohammad Amin al-Husayni, who invited Muslims to “join in the Jihad for Allah” against the “enemy.”

Now, the Gaza militants are being emboldened by a world organization, which seems more concerned with protecting the rights of terrorists than with upholding justice.

The Jew-bashing actions of Palestinian radicals cannot be discounted from any report on the Middle East conflict, and the ICC should toss this one where it belongs %u2013 in the rubbish bin.
