Hopefully this could be put up on as many websites as possible.

Today Emanuele Ottolenghi of Oxford University took this brilliant approach in a letter to Sally Hunt of the AUT. This mail is copied to some of the Haifa and Bar Ilan University administrators and their presidents. It is intended to convey to them the huge groundswell of support for them there is throughout the world.

This has been a wake up call, and fortunately we have not been found wanting and so many people are identifying with the opposition to the outrageous and undemocratic boycott.

The more you read the more monstrous the undemocratic way they did this becomes.

• pick a day when many members couldn't attend.
• allow those proposing to speak then claim lack of time to refuse to allow any one to speak against it.
• allow one of the proposers to make allegations she could not substantiate and to make statements about the universities which were untrue and for which there is no evidence.
• falsify the evidence that you use to back the justification for a boycott.

What kind of a world is it that allows dishonest, bigoted and devious people to teach our children?
