He provides three anecdotes which, while not proving the case, suggest strongly that if Israel is indeed trying to repress the Palestinians and to limit their opportunities in life, they are going about it in a very strange way:

I"m having a bit of trouble with my internet at the moment, but I"d like to comment here that I thought the interview with Arnold Roth was amazing. I especially thought his comments about his daughters and what had happened to them, and how this shed light on the Israel-Palestinian issue were brilliant. They should be turned into an article.

This sorry state of affairs began with Ben Gurion when he used to say about the UN: "um-shmum" without realizing that the UN would become a main arena of incitement against Israel. This kind of attitude to the world, prevented the formation of a functional body to counter Anti Israel political movements. I remember that during the 1970"s the Arabs were spending huge sums, many millions of dollars, building anti Israel PR, while all Israel would spend was in the region of half a million dollars. There is now a massive amount of ground for Israel to recover in the PR effort. Quite frankly I don"t know how she will do it.
