Age article carries erroneous headline

Page 8 of the Age today has an article about sanctions against Iran.

This article has the erroneous headline

"Israeli urges sanctions on Iraq"

When it should be Iran

As of 8:59AM the Age website hasn't been changed, and the hard-copy paper itself obviously carries the incorrect headline.

www.theage.com.au/news/world/israeli-urges-sanctions-on-iraq/2007/08/15/1186857593213.html

OK, It's now 9:20 and they HAVE changed the article on the net. You will note that the word IRAQ still reveals itself in the web-address.

To see the original page as it was on th web go to http://www.icjs-online.org?article=1337

Tell us what you think

The Age is showing as much attention to its editing as it does to the content of its articles. Nothing has changed. The paper is run by incompetents, and people of a lesser intellect. As the memorable line of Goldie Hawn once said "who is in charge around ?"

Pardon the French but I was mistaken. I meant is it dreq or drek? I was actually referring to the general content of the Age newspaper these days.

What do you expect from a news paper that has Palestinian activists [Muhgrabi] and Islamic council members [Waleed Aly] as staff writers on issues such as islamic terrorism and the middle east has Michael leunig part time cartoonist and part time Palestinian activist, Ed o loughlin virulent Israel basher and a the editor who reckons ''Israel deserves the suicide bomb attacks. Perhaps we should ask Bruce Wolpe Fairfax director and AJN staff writer what he thinks?
